What are physicals?

Physicals are basic health evaluations intended to screen for common medical issues. There are many reasons why you might need a physical.

What happens during physicals?

Depending on the reason for your exam, specific additional screenings may follow. Some physicals are more involved than others. For example, a physical to begin playing youth softball or attend a summer camp may be different from a physical required to begin a new position as a government position. 

DOT physicals include job-specific evaluations required in order to legally operate commercial motor vehicles. Krista could complete vision and hearing tests, urine tests, an electrocardiogram (EKG), blood tests, or other diagnostic testing to ensure that you’re healthy enough to safely complete your required job duties.
